2. What makes your shop different from all the other coffee shops?
Our customers are treated warmly and receive individual attention. They are given choices in the preparation of their beverage. We guarantee satisfaction with every beverage. In order to save time for our customers, we will gladly have your bulk coffee or tea order ready for you to pick up if you will call at least two hours in advance. We will ship our coffee, tea and treasures to the location of your request. If you desire, we will set up an auto-ship and you will receive your desired selection of coffee or tea each month at the same time.
We sell freshly roasted coffee by the cup or the pound. We have a large variety of freshly roasted coffees from which to select.
We have a very large selection of teas from which to select. It is also sold by the cup or in bulk. We sell only high quality black, green, white, oolong, and herbal teas.
We have a large selection of “treasures for the heart and home.” Our unique coffeeand tea-related products and gifts for various occasions will warm the heart and home of any receiver. Our tour of the shop will allow you to see a portion of our lovely treasures.
We frequently have live music in the shop or on the patio for your enjoyment. We encourage you to bring a friend or a group and relax with a delicious beverage and a snack as you enjoy the music.
We are pet friendly. Since we are not a restaurant, you are welcome to bring your dog for a treat. Relax on the patio with your pet as you enjoy your beverage. We also support the Animal Rescue & Foster Program.
3. Do you sell only coffee and tea? Do you serve food?
In addition to brewing 5 coffees each day, we have three menus: a specialty coffee menu with a large selection of coffee beverages which can be prepared hot, iced or blended. Our tea menu includes a large selection of black, flavored black, green, white, oolong and herbal teas. We prepare at least two iced teas each day. They include tropicalgreen and sport tea. Our third menu is our frozen beverage selections. The frozen beverages include 6 Jet Tea Smoothies made with real fruit; very healthy as well as delicious. Our frappes have a vanilla base and can be made with or without espresso and flavorings. A favorite of our customers is the “Carolina Snowcream”, a frappe made with white chocolate and topped with our homemade whipped cream.
We have a large selection of muffins and bagels. Other snacks include “Three Chocolate Brownies” (Absolutely wonderful!), cheesecake, biscotti, cookies and crackers, Godiva chocolate bars, and other snacks. Since we are not a restaurant, we do not serve sandwiches.
Our shop was established 14 years ago as a place to roast and sell coffee. As customer requests for bulk coffee increased, the roaster moved to another location in Greensboro and continues to provide locally roasted coffee for the shop. Customers began to request tea and tea accessories, in addition to coffee. Four years ago, the shop became a full service coffee and tea shop, providing a large variety of coffees, teas, and gift items for the customer. One year ago, the shop came under the current ownership. Providing a large selection of high quality coffees and teas for our customers has continued. Many new and unique “treasures for the heart and home” have been added to shop in order to meet the gift-giving needs of our customers. As our customer needs have changed, the shop has evolved to meet their needs. We know that our customers want high quality coffees, teas and gift items. We provide all of these in one comfortable location, with parking in the rear of the shop.
5. Will you host special events, such as birthday parties or bridal showers? Will you prepare coffee-to-go for groups?
We will gladly host your special event. We want to help you “make memories” that will last a life time. If you want to host a shower, birthday party or other special event inside the shop, it will be scheduled after our regular hours of operation. If you have a special event that can be held on the patio, we will reserve it for you. Let us know what type of event you want to have, the beverages and food items you want to serve, and any other special requests you may have. Since we have a catalogue, your guests may order their gifts on line and they will be beautifully prepared and ready for them to give the day of the event.
We sell 96-ounce coffee or tea-to-go boxes which are insulated and will hold the heat/cold for up to four hours. Each box will serve eight 12oz. cups of beverage. If your event is local, we will deliver the to-go boxes, cups, and condiments if you request. Reservations for to-go boxes must be made at least 4 hours in advance. Reservations for delivery must be made one day in advance.
Each time our customers purchase a cup of coffee or tea, we stamp a “coffee / tea club card.” When the customer has purchased 10 cups of coffee or tea, the next cup is free.
Each time a customer purchases bulk coffee, the purchase is recorded. When the customer has purchased 10 pounds of coffee, the next pound is free.
We also have gift cards and auto-shipping available for our customers.
